How would we describe Casa Anita@Selvolina?

A property we fell in love with years ago, a view without limits, where God sat on the mountainside to rest and admire the beauty...

A property that was once part of a large farm in a forgotten valley where chestnuts were roasted, where locals tended their vines on terraces and worked in their kitchen gardens as an important means of sustenance, where forests were used as firewood, wild boar was hunted to eat and so were the precious porcini mushrooms...where partisans hid and defended their land during the second world war and thankfully most of this still exists today. 

After a huge amount of love&thought, work, tears&joy and investment, respecting and using local materials to restore and preserve these old buildings, as well as working on outside terraces, building an infinity pool, garden, pond, fields and orchard we started short lets on the second house, Casa Anita. 

Casa Anita is a home from home where you can enjoy 'the tranquil life' at a stone's throw from bustling activity, all at your doorstep when you want to rejoin it or see something new.
